Mindfulness sounds pretty easy, it’s all about being aware of the present moment rather than worrying about the past or worrying about the future. 

But it’s often easier to get caught up in autopilot and we can feel like we are running through life, trying to get everything done, feeling that there is not enough time or that we have just lost our direction. Practising Mindfulness can help with this.  

In the 6-week Mindfulness Now course, you will learn tools to help in many areas of your life.  The course is based on a synergy of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT).  It can help with worry, stress, burn out, anxiety, depression and physical pain as well as providing ideas and guidance for living a more fulfilling life.

The course involves 6 weekly sessions where we learn and practice mindfulness that can be used in our daily lives, in both formal and informal ways.  Each week we introduce a new area of mindfulness, building our mindful toolkit. We look at movement, meditation, the brain, the body, behaviour, habits, reactions and more.

This course is designed for busy people who want to enjoy life and improve their wellbeing by ‘being alive and knowing it’.

The Journey Yoga Studio focuses on Mindfulness and movement for wellbeing.

Mindfulness courses are available both in person and online, in a group or one to one setting. Yoga sessions are offered in person, online, inside and outside (depending on the weather and season). The relaxed and welcoming nature of the classes provides a holistic approach to practising yoga that will encourage you to connect your mind, body and soul.

Danielle is DBS checked, registered on the Mindfulness Teachers Directory and a member of the Yoga Alliance Professionals.

In person lessons are available in the Sevenoaks area.

Live online classes are also available so you can practise in the comfort of your own home.

• Hatha Yoga Teacher - 200 hours
• Yin Yoga Teacher - 40 hours
• Restorative Yoga Teacher - 40 hours
• Youth Yoga and Mindfulness - 40 hours
